Asked: I am reaching out to inquire about the suitability of your ELISA kit for a specific scientific experiment involving the detection of endorphin and another endogenous opioid peptide in a non-standard rodent model. Uniprot alignment shows a 89% similarity between our research model and human endorphin sequence and 85 % alignment with mice. I believe your ELISA kit for human or mouse may be applicable for this purpose. However, I kindly request your assistance in providing information regarding the amino acids that act as epitopes for the antibodies in these kits. This information would allow me to compare the amino acid sequences and determine the most appropriate kit to order for my experiment. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response.

Answered: Unfortunately, we have not yet identified the specific epitopes that the antibodies of endorphin ELISA Kits target. All our products undergo a series of performance tests on the sample during the development stage, including the measurement range test, recovery test, sensitivity test and precision test, etc., to ensure the detection performance of the kits on the samples from target species . For samples of other species, we suggest that the customer can order a small-size kit for pre-testing to confirm whether it can be used for customer's sample.
