Lymphangitis is a common disease of the lymphatic system, which is more common in soft tissue and skin infection. When Bacterials or fungals invade lymphatic vessels through lymph fluid, a series of complex cellular and humoral factors activate an immune response specific to fight infection and accompanied by lymphangiitis. Signs and symptoms include a deep reddening of the skin, warmth, lymph node inflammation, and a raised border around the affected area.
