Recommended Use | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. |

Stability & Storage | Keep as concentrated solution. Store at 2~8°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze. Centrifuge before opening to ensure complete recovery of vial contents. This product is guaranteed up to one year from purchase. |
Conjugation | FITC |
FITC is designed to be excited by the Blue laser (488 nm) and detected using an optical filter centered near 530 nm (e.g., a 525/40 nm bandpass filter). | |
How to select the appropriate detection channel through the spectrogram?
CD122 is a 70-75 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the Ig superfamily. It is IL-2 receptor β chain also known as IL-2Rβ, which is also shared by the IL-15 receptor. CD122 is constitutively expressed by NK cells and at lower levels by a subset of T cells. Its expression is upregulated upon activation. The IL-2Rβ chain can combine with either the common γ subunit (γc, CD132) alone or with the γc subunit and the IL-2Rα subunit (CD25) to generate intermediate or high affinity IL-2 receptor complexes, respectively. CD122 expression levels can be upregulated by activation. |

Asked: Hello, I would like to perform FACS with this antibody. Is it possible to stain for the antibody if IL2 or IL15 cytokines are bound to the sample? I am interested in assessing the surface expression of CD122 on the cells I cultivate, and these cells require IL2 for growth. If staining is not possible under these conditions, how should I prepare the sample?

Answered: Hello, Thanks for your question. The concentration of the “Test package" is internal confidential and cannot be provided. We recommend that you add 1 Test (5 μL) of antibody according to a tube of cell sample {100 μL of cell suspension (1x10^6 cells)}.
