EDTA Anticoagulant is used for anticoagulation during plasma sample collection in ELISA experiments.
EDTA-Na2 binds to calcium ions in the blood to form a chelate that prevents blood from clotting.
Method for use
The effective volume ratio of 10×EDTA-Na2 to whole blood is 1:9. For example, 0.2mL EDTA-Na2 anticoagulant (10×) can anticoagulate 1.8 mL whole blood.
