For research use only.
| Detection Principle | Lactase decomposes lactose to produce glucose. Under the action of enzyme, glucose produces hydrogen peroxide. In the presence of chromogenic oxygen receptors, peroxidase catalyzes hydrogen peroxide to produce colored substances. Lactase activity can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 505 nm. |

The recommended dilution factor for different samples is as follows (for reference only):
| Sample Type | Dilution Factor |
|---|---|
| 10% Rat lleal tissue homogenate | 1 |
| 10% Rat jejunum tissue homogenate | 1 |
| 10% Rat liver tissue homogenate | 1 |
| 10% Rat kidney tissue homogenate | 1 |
The diluent is normal saline (0.9% NaCl) or PBS (0.01 M, pH 7.4). For the dilution of other sample types, please do pretest to confirm the dilution factor.
