Detection Principle | Nitrate nitrogen can react with salicylic acid to produce nitrosalicylic acid in a strongly acidic environment. Nitrosalicylic acid is yellow under strong alkaline conditions, and the depth of color is proportional to the content at a wavelength of 410 nm. |
