| Detection Principle | Histamine is an endogenous active substance that exists widely in nature and is an important mediator involved in inflammatory response and immune damage. The histamine content increases with the degree of spoilage of the organism. Histamine can produce chromogenic substances with chromogenic agents under the action of enzymes, which has a maximum absorption peak at 460 nm. The histamine content of the sample can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 460 nm. |
