| Product Introduction | MOPS Running Buffer (20×) is an electrophoresis buffer designed for Bis-Tris precast gels. Its core components include MOPS, Tris and SDS, featuring a stable buffering system and uniform ionic strength. Compared with conventional Tris-Glycine buffer, this product delivers higher resolution, well-defined protein bands and consistent migration rate. It is widely used in protein SDS-PAGE electrophoresis and pre-electrophoresis for Western Blot. This product is a denaturing electrophoresis buffer for Bis-Tris gels and is not compatible with polyacrylamide gels using Tris-Glycine, HEPES or other buffer systems. It enables efficient separation and detection of medium-to-high molecular weight proteins (14–200 kDa). For separation of low-to-medium molecular weight proteins, MES Running Buffer (20×) (E-IR-R340) is recommended. |
