Three genes for human Fc gamma RII (A, B and C) and one for mouse (Fc gamma RIIB), encoding type I transmembrane proteins, have been identified. The extracellular domain of mouse Fc gamma RII shares approximately 95% amino acid sequence identity with that of mouse Fc gamma RIII/CD16. |
