Ferroptosis, an iron- and ROS-dependent form of regulated cell death (RCD), was first coined in 2012. It is remarkably distinct from other types of RCD, such as apoptosis, necroptosis, and autophagic cell death. Ferroptosis is closely related to the pathophysiological processes of various diseases, such as tumors, nervous system diseases, kidney injury, and more. Elabscience^® has independently developed a series of assay kits for cell iron, reactive oxygen species, lipid peroxide, glutathione, and other ferroptosis-related research indicators to support ferroptosis research.
