Ferroptosis
Ferroptosis, an iron-dependent form of regulated cell death (RCD), was first coined in 2012. It is remarkably distinct from other types of RCD, such as apoptosis, necroptosis, and autophagic cell death. Ferroptosis is closely related to the pathophysiological processes of various diseases, including tumors, nervous system diseases, kidney injury, and more.
Elabscience® has developed a series of kits for measuring cell iron, reactive oxygen species, lipid peroxide, glutathione and other indicators to support ferroptosis research.
