Total Superoxide Dismutase (T-SOD) Activity Assay Kit (WST-1 Method) (E-BC-K020-M)

For research use only.
| Detection Principle | The assay is based on the inhibition of WST-1 reduction by SOD. Superoxide anions generated in the reaction system reduce WST-1 to a water-soluble formazan dye. SOD activity negatively correlates with the formazan dye formation, which is quantified colorimetrically at 450 nm. |
