| Detection Principle | Citrate synthetase (CS) catalyzes acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate to produce limonyl-CoA, which can further produce CoA. The yellow product generated by this reaction has a characteristic absorption peak at 412 nm. The activity of CS can be calculated by measuring the change of absorbance value at 412 nm. |
