Typical data
The following data was generated by the Quality Control Department, under controlled laboratory conditions (ambient temperature: 18-25 °C, relative humidity: 35-75%) using standardized procedures (TMB reaction at 37 °C in the dark for 15 minutes, followed by termination and OD measurement). These values are provided for reference only. Actual results may vary due to differences in laboratory conditions, operator technique, and equipment. Users are required to generate a standard curve using their own experimental data.

Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Within-run Precision): Three samples representing low, mid, and high concentrations of Human IL-6 were tested 20 times on a single plate.
Inter-assay Precision (Between-run Precision): Three samples representing low, mid, and high concentrations of Human IL-6 were tested on three separate plates, with 20 replicates per plate, to assess variability among assays.

Recovery
The recovery of Human MAU was evaluated by spiking samples at low, mid, and high concentrations across the assay range in various sample matrices.
The assay performance was assessed by comparing the measured concentrations to the expected spiked amounts to determine the percent recovery.
Sample Type Range (%) Average Recovery(%)
Serum (n=8) 86-98 92
EDTA plasma (n=8) 90-105 96
Cell culture media (n=8) 96-108 102
Linearity
Linearity of the assay was evaluated by spiking samples with high concentrations of Human MAU and performing serial dilutions using Standard & Sample Diluent to produce concentrations spanning the assay's dynamic range. The measured values were then compared to the expected concentrations to assess the linearity of response.

For the recovery experiment, the samples were spiked with standard solutions of a specific concentration and then serially diluted to 2-fold, 4-fold, 8-fold, and 16-fold dilutions, respectively. The average recovery rate was subsequently calculated.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human MAU. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human MAU and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human MAU, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 5 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human MAU. You can calculate the concentration of Human MAU in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Microalbuminuria (MAU) is defined as urinary albumin excretion exceeding the normal reference range without meeting the diagnostic criteria for clinical proteinuria. Urinary microprotein assay represents the most sensitive and accurate diagnostic tool for screening early nephropathy, which is widely adopted clinically to monitor renal injury. Integrating urinary microalbumin test results, predisposing factors, clinical manifestations and medical history enables clinicians to clarify the severity of renal lesions and determine the staging of renal fibrosis, which is of great significance for the prevention, treatment and early intervention of kidney diseases.Albumin is primarily synthesized in the liver and composed of 585 amino acid residues, presenting an overall heart-shaped three-dimensional conformation dominated by α-helices. This distinctive structure endows albumin with outstanding flexibility and structural stability, so its conformation rarely alters even under extreme environmental conditions. The albumin molecule contains numerous binding sites capable of binding various endogenous and exogenous substances such as fatty acids, endogenous hormones and exogenous drugs. Accordingly, albumin not only functions as a substance transport carrier, but also participates in the regulation of diverse physiological activities.
