It is recommended to take 2~3 samples with expected large difference to do pre-experiment before formal experiment and dilute the sample according to the result of the pre-experiment and the detection range (0.04-30 mmol/L).
The recommended dilution factor for different samples is as follows (for reference only):
Sample type |
Dilution factor |
Human serum |
1 |
Mouse serum |
1 |
Rat serum |
1 |
Human plasma |
1 |
Note: The diluent is normal saline (0.9% NaCl) .

Asked: Is it possible to measure the glucose concentration in juice?

Answered: Yes, it is. There is no species distinction for samples for metabolism assays. But it's better to make a sample control for your samples especially for the first time.

Asked: How long can I keep the working solution?

Answered: I't better to finishing using the working solution as soon as possible. If it's not available to use it immediately, the working solution must be protect from light at 2-8 degree, and no more than 24 hours.
