Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Human FSH were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.

The recovery of Human FSH spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

Asked: Can this kit be used to test salivary FSH? And what considerations should be taken (should saliva be centrifuged first? Saliva storage before using it on this kit?)

Answered: Hi Abdulrahman, We have verified human saliva samples with E-EL-H1143, and the detection value are very low, and most of the OD values are no signal. It is not recommended to use this kit to detect saliva samples. Here are the recommendations for collection and preservation of saliva samples: Patients should fast and gargle one hour before sampling to keep the mouth clean. Saliva samples should be centrifuged at 2-8℃, 12000r/min for 10 minutes to remove impurities, and take the supernatant for detection. It is recommended to use fresh saliva samples for testing. Samples could be stored for one month at - 20 ℃ and three months at - 80 ℃. If any further questions, pls email to customer00@elabscience.com Best regards
