| General Information | Salinomycin is a polyether antibiotic and an inhibitor of bacterial and coccidian cell membrane synthesis. It has a variety of pharmacological activities. It is used as an adjuvant treatment to inhibit coccidiosis and bacterial infections in livestock and poultry, or to promote animal growth and improve feed conversion efficiency. It has a long metabolic cycle, high fat solubility, and is easy to accumulate in animal tissues.
