General Information β-lactamase is a type of enzyme secreted by drug-resistant bacteria against β-lactams antibiotics. Combining with β-lactam ring, the β-lactam ring is cleaved and destroyed and losing its antibacterial activity. which is is the main reason of resistant for the medicine of this type bacteria. Using the principle that β-lactamase can decompose β-lactam antibiotics, the content of β-lactam antibiotics remaining after the reaction with β-lactamase can be quickly determined, thereby indirectly detecting the residual β-lactamase in pure milk, and then determine whether β-lactam antibiotics have been added to the sample.Compared with traditional methods, Elabscience Beta-Lactamase kit is simple, fast, and sensitive, and is suitable for the detection of large quantities of samples. Meet the needs of international regulatory agencies, food manufacturers and processors, laboratory testing agencies, agricultural biological research and other personnel to detect Beta-Lactamase in samples to allay customers' concerns about food safety. The kit is manufactured in accordance with the international quality standard ISO 9001.
