| Detection Principle | Nitric oxide (NO) is chemically active and is rapidly metabolized in the body to nitrite (NO2-) and nitrate (NO3-), and NO2- is further converted into NO3-. In this kit, NO3- was reduced to NO2- by reductant agent, and reacts with chromogenic agent to produce color substance. The nitrate content can be determined at 540 nm. |
