Akt, also known as protein kinase B (PKB), is a serine/threonine protein kinase with a molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa. AS an important crossover point of many signaling pathways, Akt can regulate cell survival signals activated by cytokines, growth factors and Oncogene Ras, which is very common in eukaryotic regulatory networks. Akt signal pathway is closely related to the occurrence and development of various diseases such as malignant tumors, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis, and therefore it has attracted more and more attention.
