Phenotyping of Common Immune Cells

There are many different types of immune cells in the immune system, mainly include T cells, B cells, natural killer cells, etc., each with different functions and characteristics. By identifying immune cell types, the number and proportion of specific immune cell types present in a specific sample can be determined, and their activity and functional status can be evaluated. This identification is usually accomplished by analyzing cell surface markers, intracellular protein expression, or gene expression. Common methods include Flow Cytometry and Single cell transcriptomics.
