Ferroptosis

Ferroptosis, an iron- and ROS-dependent form of regulated cell death (RCD), was first coined in 2012. It is remarkably distinct from other types of RCD such as apoptosis, necroptosis, and autophagic cell death . ferroptosis is closely related to the pathophysiological processes of various diseases such as tumor nervous system diseases,kidney injury and so on.
