---|---|---|
Serum(n=8) | 87-98 | 91 |
EDTA plasma (n=8) | 93-104 | 100 |
Cell culture media (n=8) | 96-102 | 99 |
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human PⅠCP and diluted with Reference Standard & Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.

Asked: What is the normal range for PICP in myocardial fibrosis with this kit? From another study (not elabscience kit), the range is above 100 ng/ml, but in this kit i got the result below 40 ng/ml. can i have explanation?

Answered: Hi, Destrian. Thanks for your feedback. According to the available references, the PICP content level of normal human serum plasma is about 20 ng/ml. The detected results of our ELISA Kit were consistent with those reported in the references. However, due to the differences of individuals and different brands of ELISA Kit, the samples may have low or high values. In addition, dilution factor may also be one of the factors contributing to the low values. Therefore, it is suggested that you provide the lot number of ELISA Kit, sample type and the raw data of ELISA Kit, so that we can help you solve your problem better.

Asked: May i get the normal range of PICP for this kit? I have used this kit for my research and found that the result was much lower than most publication (range >100 ng/ml). Thank you.
