PBST Buffer,pH7.4 (10×)

Introduction

PBST buffer is a phosphate buffer containing Tween-20, which provides a relatively stable ionic environment and pH buffering capacity and is the most commonly used buffer for biochemistry. It is mainly used in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and other experiments, cleaning immunoblotting membrane, etc.

Components

Instructions

This product is a 10× concentrated solution, dilute with deionized water to 1× working solution before use.

For example: take 100 mL PBST buffer (10×), dilute with deionized water to 1 L.

1 × PBST buffer component

136.9 mM NaCl, 2.68 mM KCl, 10 mM Na₂HPO₄•12H₂O, 2 mM KH₂PO₄, 0.1% (v/v) Tween20,pH 7.4.

Storage

Store at room temperature for 12 months.

Cautions

1. PBST may precipitate when stored at low temperature. If PBST precipitates, please dissolve PBST in water bath at 37°C, and then dilute it to 1 x working buffer.

2. Keep the product sealed to prevent from pollution.

3. For your safety and health, please wear the lab coat and disposable gloves before the experiments.
